Thanks for joining me here! I’ve been blogging my runs, hikes, and backpacking trips since I started adventuring in 2012 in Connecticut, having never hiked a day in my life. I’ve learned many lessons, made friends, and traveled far and wide since then, completing:
- Appalachian Trail
- VT Long Trail
- John Muir Trail
- Tahoe Rim Trail
- Tour du Mont Blanc
- New England Trail
- Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway
- Tully Trail
and peak-bagged the New Hampshire 48 4,000 Footers, the New England 67 4,000 Footers, the New England Hundred Highest, the Adirondack 46 4,000 Footers, the Northeast 111 4,000 Footers, the New Hampshire 48 4,000 Footers in winter, the Northeast Ultra 8, the New England 67 4,000 Footers in winter, and the New England Hundred Highest in winter.
I’m now in the midst of section hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and working on the Northeast 111 4,000 Footers in winter. I ran my first 100-mile race in May 2022, the Riverlands 100 in Maine. I’ve also set 17 Fastest Known Times (athlete profile) – the nonbinary unsupported Super Pemi Loop in NH; the nonbinary unsupported Swan Song in NH; the nonbinary self-supported Cohos Trail in NH; the nonbinary unsupported Cranberry Lake 50; the overall unsupported Long 7 Sisters in MA; the overall unsupported North South Trail in RI; the overall unsupported Monadnock Quad Traverse in NH; the overall unsupported car-to-car Bandera Peak in WA; the nonbinary unsupported Ware River Rail Trail in MA; and the nonbinary unsupported Monadnock Sunapee Greenway in NH.
I’m delighted to offer you a window into the wilderness through my experiences as a white queer, nonbinary, and transgender hiker! As I’ve continued to hike and develop my photography skills, my photos have been featured in a few places, like the Tahoe Rim Trail‘s 2021 Calendar. For more regular updates, check out my Instagram!
If you’re interested in purchasing prints of my photos or scheduling a coaching session to discuss backpacking preparation, please reach out to me here or on Instagram.
