It was a cool, overcast, and rainy kind of day, but I made the best of it with a run out to Owl’s Head. I started from Lincoln Woods just before 7am, and made good time by the Black Pond bushwhack and the Brutus bushwhack. The water crossings were quite understated given the recent rain, and I mostly kept my feet dry. I was able to run almost all of the last 6 miles back to my car, and for the first time ever, I found the exit out of Lincoln Woods to be shorter than I felt like it should be. I guess my run training is going well!
