In April, I traveled to Northern California and visited Yosemite for three days. I did four different hikes and was completely blown away by the views every time. There are no bad views in Yosemite. Day three was perhaps more painful than anticipated. During the morning and noon hours, the Yosemite Falls Trail switchbacks are in direct, glaring sunlight. There is almost no shade to be had. I was so glad of my water treatment drops and the free-flowing water available near the trail.
Day 3: Yosemite Falls Trail, past Columbia Rock and up to the top of Upper Yosemite Falls and then up and around to Yosemite Point. And then all the way back down.
