Elevation: ~2000′

This bushwhack was much easier to follow than Scar Ridge. The underbrush was much lighter, and it seems like it’s a more common bushwhack, so more feet have tramped down a herdpath. There were also some orange ribbons to follow; it was still challenging, but it make it a lot easier to find my way through the thicker areas of forest. While it rained for the second half of this hike, it didn’t have much of an impact on the hiking conditions.
