After a relatively restless night, I started out from the trail head at 5:55am. I had decided to take the bushwhacks for Iso and it was a mistake. The bushwhacks were both muddy and marshy, full of streams and trickles, and truly endless amounts of spiderwebs to wrap around my face. I was covered in spiders and spider snacks, all the while dripping sweat in the humid heat. I was not particularly happy on this trip; I’ll never do the bushwhacks in non-winter conditions again. The round trip took me forever at 5.25 hours.
