After a quick jaunt up the Hancocks, I parked and biked to Pine Bend Brook. I tied up my bike there and started hiking by 10:45am. The mosquitoes were fierce, and one got stuck in the back of my throat within the first 15 minutes, making me puke before I could get water to clear it out. It was in the 80s, and I stopped to filter water a few different times, enjoying the cold spring water.
The route took me right around 7.25 hours; I then headed back to Pine Bend to pick up my bike before driving home. Having done it in both directions, I think I prefer WhitePass first, ending at Pine Bend Brook.
