Summits: Cabot
Start/Finish: Unknown Pond TH
Miles: 9.4
Elevation gain/loss: 3300′
For my final hike up Cabot, I tried a new approach from Unknown Pond TH. It was a unique direction, and I enjoyed the variety. Seeing Unknown Pond was lovely. The trail was very quiet – I didn’t see anyone else. I went over the Bulge but didn’t take the side trip for the Horn, and I made it back out to my car by 9pm.
