After the relentless Maine hiking, I decided to take it easy today. I started later in the day and managed to find a parking spot on the side of the access road. Based on the number of cars and the popularity of this hike, I put on my spikes and wore them door to door. The only place I wished I’d had snowshoes was a few tenths of the Kinsman Ridge Trail where it was softer and had more drifts. All said and done, it was a relaxing and easy hike!
