After sleeping in my car overnight, I was up just a bit before 6am and hiking by 6:20am. The climb up to the summit was a little bit icy but not too bad. The wind was blowing pretty hard at the top and I quickly headed back down, making good time back down.It started raining perhaps 30 minutes shy of the parking lot and I got a bit damp before arriving back at my car. As I headed out around 8:45am, I saw only a few dozen cars parked at Waterville, which was less than I had expected.
